Sorry I haven't been around much lately, guys. I literally had to take myself down the rabbit hole to get Red: Eyes Only wrapped up (which should FINALLY be in stores in just a couple of weeks, by the way), and I haven't been very social or communicative on of off the web. This is sometimes how artists, writers, or creatives of any industry have to conduct themselves, you know.

I've had such a great year, really. And while no one's life is without complication or sadness, I'd be a nut if I didn't realize just how lucky I've been, and how good I have it. It's easy to get caught up in the negative-- this I know, believe you me. But one thing I've learned over the years is that concentrating on the positive in one's life makes it grow, no matter how much it's outweighed by whatever's not going right at the time. To commandeer a sentiment from a campaign that's been going around lately: It gets better. That has an incredible amount of resonance for me, personally, considering my life, say, five or ten years ago.

In any case, I just wanted to wish all of you a happy day of thanks, and remind you that you don't have to be American and/or religious to be thankful. Thankful to whom is up to you. Just be thankful.

Hey was it always 48 pages?
I don't care when good stuff comes out, as long as I'm alive to experience it!
